That's right, we at THE SOURCE want to provide a database of proven speakers as a resource for youth workers across the globe. Youth workers will be able to book YOU through our web site.


QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

HOW GOOD OF A SPEAKER DO I HAVE TO BE?
THE SOURCE doesn't recommend any two legs and a voice box! THE SOURCE SPEAKER NETWORK will only include speakers who complete the application process, and who can meet these three requirements when speaking to youth:
  1. The audience clearly understood a biblically sound talk.
  2. The audience wants to hear the speaker again!
  3. The speaker carried out the instructions of the hiring group!
HOW MUCH WOULD I EARN?
THE SOURCE will have two catagories:
    A Network: Speakers would earn $500 a weekend, or $1000 a week.
    B Network: Speakers would earn $1000 a weekend, or $1500 a week.

These speakers would pay for their own travel costs- because they would only travel within reasonable driving distance. And the booking party would pay for room and board.

WHY THE TWO LEVELS?
The main reason we created these levels is for simplicity of booking. We want youthworkers using THE SOURCE website to know exactly how much money they need, across the board, up front. If they are doing a weekend retreat and need a speaker, we have speakers that can do it for $500 TOTAL, or $1,000 TOTAL. That's it! It's that simple. That makes it easy on the budget.

Two levels also exist because some speakers require more income than others (some make a living speaking, while some use it as extra income). These levels will have nothing to do with the quality of the speaker. Speakers choosing to be on the B Network may not receive as many bookings as the A Network, because of affordability. Speakers will want to choose their price range carefully.

DOES THE SOURCE GET A CUT?
Nope. We are just providing a resource for youthworkers. Although, we will be requiring speaker evaluations for each engagement, to maintain the quality of our list.

WHO DOES THE BOOKING?
THE SOURCE links the individual speaker's web site, email, or contact number. The individual will handle all booking, billing, etc. But these speakers will agree as part of the application process to stay within the guidelines posted, or they will be removed from the list.

HOW DO I BECOME A "THE SOURCE SPEAKER?"
Good question. Glad you asked. We have a simple two step application process to evaluate speakers for THE SOURCE SPEAKER NETWORK:

Two steps:
  1. Download our Speaker's Network Application and fill it out completely. It will take some time to complete, as we would like to choose our speakers carefully. (CLICK HERE to download a FREE version of Adobe Acrobat if you don't already have it.)

  2. Video one of your talks in front of an audience of teenagers. This does not have to be a professionally edited video. We do not care about the quality of the video, we only require that we can:
      A. See you clearly.
      B. Hear your entire talk clearly.
      C. Hear some audience reaction.
