Wrap-up:
Some of you seem to think that if you're good you go to heaven and bad you go to hell. Well if that was the case we'd all be in deep water because all of us have sinned or done bad. In the Bible it does say that sin or us being bad keeps us from having a relationship with God. The good news is that the God cares about us so much that he sacrificed his son Jesus on a cross for us so that we can restore that relationship with him by trusting in him. That's right- not by going to church or doing a certain number of good deeds- then we all would fail- but by truly trusting in God and what he tells us.

There was a 13 year old boy back in the old western days who always did what he wanted to do. He figured he wanted freedom so he was the only one who would make decisions for himself. One day he saw a horse drawn wagon sitting in front of the town store. He jumped in a wagon; the horses took off. The reigns dropped and the wagon was out of control. The horses were headed towards huge drop off at the ravine and weren't slowing down. The boy felt a pull on his shoulder and was lifted from the wagon as the horses and wagon went over the cliff. The towns Sheriff had jumped on and saved him in the nick of time. The Sheriff said, "You can't just do whatever you want- there's a price to pay- now you've been freed- don't choose that way again." The boy grew up, disregarding the Sheriff's advise and gave in to what he wants. 30 years later he got caught for stealing horses, a hanging offense. He went before the judge and was found guilty. As the outlaw looked up he recognized the judge as the Sheriff who had saved his life before when he was a young boy. He pleaded that he save his life again. The judge reluctantly said "Then I was your savior, now I sit as your judge."

God became man, died and rose again, paying the price for all we've ever done wrong; and he is the only one that can save us and provide us with true freedom. Say yes to him now as your savior, because some day he will sit as our judge.

Pass out react cards and give them an opportunity to mark on the card if they want to talk to someone about saying yes to Jesus.
