Optional Transition- " It Could Happen to You" video short- a true story. Show a few clips of the movie "It Could Happen to You" with Nicholas Cage, Rose Perez, and Bridget Fonda. Great scenes of Rosie Perez going crazy shopping thinking that all that stuff will make her happy . . . and she ends up miserable.

    Wrap up:
Conclusion: She was never satisfied and her greed led her to be broke- the other 2 who weren't greedy were satisfied. Read Ecclesiastes 2 vs. 11 Introduce by saying that in the previous verses Solomon discusses all of his vast riches (read vs. 4-10 if you wish) and chapter 12:13,14

    Examples:

Len Bias- #1 round draft pick- top player- Boston Celtics $40,000,000- said yes to cocaine- heart sped up and he had a heart attack- died

River Phoenix- couldn't find happiness in all that he had. Tried to fill the hole in his heart with drugs and it cost him his life.

Kurt Cobain- Had it all- but was miserable because he was still empty.

Easy E.- realized at the end of his life that he was chasing the wrong thing

They had it all- but they still wanted more- they thought that their choices would provided freedom but it only provided their bondage or death sentence- Freedom only comes from Jesus Christ
