$1000 Bill Exchange

For this game you need to make your own money on your computer (be sure it's clearly phony or it might be a federal offense). Give each person 10 of the bills. They are to try to win as many as possible from their peers by challenging them one on one doing one of three things:

Thumb wrestling
Rock, paper, scissors
Flipping a coin

    Rules:
    You must accept any challenge
Sudden death, no two out of three
Challenger has to have a coin and is "heads" on the coin toss.
*If you are unable or don't want to make play money, see Penny Challenge (Click Here); it's similar but uses a bunch of pennies.

Also see Top Dollar (Click Here).

Sure looks fun if it's let me rate AFTER I played instead of before

Great mixer! Got each of my kids laughing and interacting with the entire group. We will definitely play this one again.

Because of this game, a new currency has been born into our youth group. The Derp has taken on a life of its own and is now challenged over at random times. There was even a Derp-Off at a Superbowl Party! Totally fun and exciting and great to get everyone moving around...

This games has been great go to game--- except we made lots of money with my face on it and now it pops up all over the place...

I've used this several times and it is always a hit. I've put pictures of kids on the money.

kids seem to like playing the "big wig" whenever it comes to money. this way they get to have a bit of harmless fun and get to know one another better at the same time.

This game seems like an interesting idea, but we have a large group of middle schoolers and many of the kids just looked at each other like, "Is he serioues?" It got some mixing done, but not as much as we would have liked.

We tried this one with our kids and it was a hit.

I have used this many times as a large group mingling event. Besides money, you can use candy (things that don;t melt in your hands work best). Even the most timid will usually participate. The one thing to watch out for is kids who just give their money to others without making them win it in the challenges.

Our students had a blast with this one. I used my face and our speaker's face on the fake money.
