Sofa Drive-in: Have groups of teens bring a sofa to someone's backyard. Set up a big screen TV (or video projector and screen) outside and watch a good movie together (screen it ahead of time). You could pair the couches up so there is a front seat and a back seat like a car. Each group is responsible for bringing their couch when they arrive and taking it with them when they leave. Make lots of popcorn and movie snacks. Maybe set up a concession stand and sell the movie boxed candies, buckets of popcorn, and sodas for cost. Recruit a supportive parent to run concessions and help keep an eye on the teens in the back seats. Added by Amanda Brady |
