A Strong Response

I just wanted to say thank you for the overwhelming response to last week's email newsletter. I was happy to share that experience with you- it certainly reminded me of a perspective we need to keep. I hope your Thanksgiving was a thankful one.

The Strangest Email: Hippos?

On a lighter note, a couple weeks ago I received a great game addition. My game additions can be submitted anonymously. Whoever sent me this one should have put their name down- I'd love to give them credit!

Understand the setting in which I was reading this: I'm tired, it's the end of the day, I'm leaning on my desk, staring at my computer in auto-read mode, reading through games that people have submitted . . . and I come to this one:

Game Name: Green Hippo, Orange Hippo
Game Description: Get two Hippo's (real ones). Paint one green, one orange (this could take more paint than you expect). Divide the group in two, then each team must get all their members on their hippo. The team that can lead their hippo through an obstacle course the fastest wins. The course should be fairly simple, not too difficult. Ex. One lap of the sanctuary, figure eight through chairs, through a doorway, etc.

Good stuff! Thank you, whoever wrote this, for making me fall off my chair!
