Coffee House: We live in a small town where there is not much to do and not much close by (45 min to nearest theatre, shopping, etc). I hold a "Coffee House" 2 times a month where kids can gather in a safe atmosphere. We play pool, ping pong, foosball, cards, karaoke, and yes, we even have coffee with light snacks. We don't have a lesson or speaker...just let the kids gather under Christian supervision. We have pulled in kids from the whole community. It gets them to the church without pressuring them. Once they've come to coffee house a couple of times, they are usually ready to come to Wednesday night services, Sunday school, and church. We stared out with 5 kids for the first Coffee House and we are now up to over 30 kids for our Wednesday night services. We have really been able to reach a lot of kids this way.
